Brian pursued an opportunity to work as an attorney at Zukerman due to the passionate belief upon which Larry Zukerman founded his firm: every case deserves the most fervent and sympathetic scrutiny to ensure that an individual’s rights and liberties are not unjustifiably lost.
Brian is the only attorney in Ohio who has earned the distinction of being named by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the area criminal defense every year from 2011 through 2017. In addition to criminal defense, Brian’s practices areas include, but are not limited to OVI defense, personal injury, civil rights litigation, and appeals.
Brian’s aggressive and successful representation of clients in various areas of the law has resulted in The National Trial Lawyers naming Brian to its Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyers for Ohio in 2012, 2013, and 2014 and its Top 100 Trial Lawyers for Ohio in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Brian has also coauthored articles that have been published by the Cleveland Bar Association and Federal Bar Association and has been selected to speak at continuing legal education seminars.
In 2005, Brian earned his Juris Doctor and Certificates of Concentration with honors in Litigation and Criminal Law from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Brian graduated from the University of Dayton in 2002, cum laude.
Brian and his wife Bethanie reside in Avon Lake, Ohio with their two sons, Samuel and Andrew.
