Morgan E. Helgreen has dedicated her practice to helping clients navigate family law matters including divorce, dissolution of marriage, custody and parenting time matters, post-decree support issues and protection orders. Her experience includes negotiating prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, tracing separate property claims, establishing and enforcing support, negotiating and litigating complex custody disputes, and representing clients in appellate matters. Morgan looks forward to expanding her practice areas to serve our firm’s criminal and other litigation clients.
Prior to joining Zukerman, Lear, Murray & Brown, Morgan worked as an associate at top Cleveland family law firms where she has been recognized in Best Lawyers ® “Ones to Watch” since 2022. Morgan also served as an adjunct professor of Advanced and International Family Law at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law and is a Guardian ad Litem and certified mediator. Morgan graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she received the Robert I. Zashin Family Law Achievement Prize which recognizes students “who demonstrate outstanding performance in advanced domestic relations or in the field of family law.” At CWRU, Morgan received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Family Law and served as an editor of both the Case Western Reserve Law Review and the Canada-United States Law Journal. Prior to law school, Morgan graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University where she double-majored in strategic communications and political science.
Outside of the office, Morgan serves on the board of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation. Morgan also served as the co-chair of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Family Law Section from 2020-2022 and. Morgan regularly volunteers with the CMBA’s 3R’s: Rights, Responsibilities, and Realities program, the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland, and the Ohio Center for Law-Related Education’s High School Mock Trial Program. An avid traveler, Morgan enjoys exploring cities’ newest restaurants and art exhibitions.
