The Cleveland Jewish News profiled Adam Brown, associate trial attorney at Zukerman, Lear & Murray, Co., LPA in Cleveland, as part of the Local Lawyers / Super Attorneys 2022 feature.
Brown received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University and graduated from The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law in 2014. His path to Zukerman’s firm came through a personal connection: he was friends with Larry Zukerman’s nephew in law school, who recommended him for an interview. Brown has been with the firm ever since.
His interest in criminal defense traces back to middle school, when a friend ran into legal trouble. “I wanted to help him but I couldn’t,” he said. “That always stuck with me.” He cites a landmark Title IX case won by the firm in July 2020 as a major career milestone, and anticipates that cryptocurrency fraud cases will be a growing area of practice.
