Larry Zukerman, managing partner of Zukerman, Lear & Murray, Co., LPA, was sworn in as the 2022-23 president of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association Foundation in June 2022, taking the reins of the charitable arm of Cleveland’s bar association after 37 years of membership. The Cleveland Jewish News profiled his vision for the role, which centers on expanding access to legal careers for underserved students through programs like the Louis Stokes Scholars Program — an eight-week paid summer internship pairing Cleveland-area high schoolers with lawyers and legal organizations — and the newly established Next Generation LSAT Scholarship Fund. Zukerman described the presidency as both a privilege and a reflection of his core belief that the legal community has a responsibility to level the playing field for the next generation.
